Welcome to Waves House of Prayer & Outpost, we're delighted that you have scrolled over to our page! We invite you over to our Facebook page, where you can tell us your name and city of residence, and leave a prayer request that we can bring before the Lord.
You have reached your destination in search of a local house of prayer. Scheduled sets of prayer and worship - to give God glory - will fill the week; where all are welcome. Worship with the Word sets will provide the opportunity to go deep into God's word with song. Solitude devotional sets with reflection will centre your hearts and minds on Jesus, to bring you peace and depth of character.
Whether it is a Facebook live or live event, you won’t want to miss the authentic South West Nova Scotia worship and prayer. Waves House of Prayer is designed to grow your spiritual gifts for the sake of the King and the Kingdom.
Calling all musicians, singers, forerunners, flaggers, artists, techies, songwriters and prayer warriors; we have a place for you - to be free to worship - the living God.
Waves House of Prayer & Outpost embraces all denominations while remaining denominationally neutral. We encourage continuous involvement in your local church, the place where they know you best, and can care for you.
When you are in the area, share with us a psalm, hymn or spiritual song, and make melody to the Lord with your heart. Eph.5:19
Our prayer is that you know that you are loved by God the Father, prayed for by Jesus the Son, and able to pause with the Holy Spirit.
House of Prayer
Waves House of Prayer & Outpost was envisaged in the Summer of 2018, August 5, 2018 on the southwest shore of Nova Scotia. "God is love" - 1 John 4:8 - resounded from the Atlantic Ocean waves; which was both an invitation to receive, and to extend to all..
On New Year's Eve, December 31, 2018, "house of God" Ps. 42:4 and "His love has swept over me in the deep waters" Ps.42:7b, we encountered the living God, which inspired the name, Waves House of Prayer & Outpost.
After much prayer in seeking God's direction and confirmation from significant leaders within the body of Christ - with much fear and trembling - we have been preparing a way for Waves House of Prayer to come to life.
Waves House of Prayer & Outpost is a house of believers built by God for him to dwell in, with Jesus as our Chief Cornerstone. We seek God's face and heart for mercy and justice in the earth through prayer and praise, and an Outpost to serve those with needs. Ultimately our goal is to give God glory.
What is an Outpost?
The Outpost exists to help people requiring practical assistance, with aid and encouragement. Widows and orphans were biblically highlighted to be supported in troubled times. We’re here for you.
If you or someone you know has a need, contact us by Facebook, phone or email.

Ron's favourite Bible chapter is Romans chapter 8; which he recites.

Co-Founders, Ron & Karen desire to see intercessors and worshippers released into their talents and purposes; while building a house for God to dwell.†
They have been affiliated with worship houses across Canada - since the mid 90s. Places like: Toronto, Calgary, Eston, The Pas, and Saskatoon.
Since their early connection with Nova Scotia and the re-introduction in 2009, their gaze has been on Jesus to see and hear about the journey our Lord was beckoning them to follow in their sea-bound coast.
Waves House of Prayer & Outpost was envisioned in 2012, formulated by the waves of the Atlantic Ocean on August 5, 2018, registered as a non-profit organization in NS on December 3, 2019 and launched in June 2020, during the COVid-19 pandemic lockdown.
As songwriters, they value the presence of God, and the inspiration of Holy Spirit to honour Jesus in new songs.±
As burning ones - Let everything praise the Lord!
† you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:5

Statement of Faith
That the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative written Word of God.
In the eternal existence of one true God who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
In the Savior of men, the Lord Jesus Christ, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very man.
In the creation, test, and fall of man, as recorded in Genesis; his total spiritual depravity and inability to attain to divine righteousness.
That forgiveness of sin and eternal life is freely offered to all by our Lord Jesus Christ. The Salvation of sinners is by grace through faith alone, in the perfect all sufficient work of Christ, who died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day for our justification.
In the gifts of the Holy Spirit as enumerated in the book of Acts and the Epistles.
In the Lord’s Table as a memorial for believers.
In Divine Healing as practiced throughout the New Testament.
In the eternal life of the believer.
In the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His Church.
That prayer is an important part of our Christian life and is an important key in our relationship to Christ and can bring about change in our cities and nations.
In praying for our national, provincial, civic leaders.
In praying for our police, community leaders, teachers, schools boards and churches in our area.
That love for Christ should translate to love for others.
